Charlie - The Final Girl

As most final girls, Charlie has a unisex name and she tends not to be too feminine in order to allow the audience to identify with her.
Although most girls have dark hair, we decided for our final girl to have dark hair in order to portray her innocence as blonde hair is often associated with angels, which are in turn associated with purity.
Her virginal nature will be conveyed through the way in which she will dress, as she will dress quite simple and her lack of heavy make up will make her look more pure.

Sophie- The First Girl 

The first girl is always the first victim of the killer.  The first girl tends to be very feminine, and she usually is portrayed as a character who wears a lot of make up, always dresses in nice clothes which bring out the sensuality of her body. We wanted her to be a very exotic figure to reinforce sexuality and the difference between herself and Charlie.

Henry- The Jock 

In most slahser films, the person who dies after the first girl tends to be of a different race other than white, or he is usually a jock.
We tried to portrayed Henry as not being particularly smart, due to the use of slang such as 'dodgy.' He usually dies to to a failed act of bravery which leads to the killer getting access to him easily.

Mr Sharp- The Benefactor 

The English teacher is the benefactor in this film. As he recognizes Michael's disturbing mind through reading the essay which have bee handed in to him describing Sohpie's murder . He then warns and tries to help the final girl escape the killer.
               










Michael- The Killer 

We created our villain based on two classic killers: Peeping Tom and Ghostface. Michael enjoys stalking his victims and then viciously killing them while recording his murders, just like Mark, the villain in Peeping Tom.
Michael is a very difficult character with a dark and mysterious past, which somehow make up for his deeply disturbed mind.
Through the film he develops an obsession with a group of teenagers and decides to kill them in order to make his own slasher film. His obsession with horror films will make him copycat the killings in Scream
